Pentahotel Prague

In June 2019, we flew to Prague with Air Transat and was excited to explore the city’s beautiful architecture, culture and local cuisine.

We were lucky enough to stay at the ultramodern and stylish Pentahotel Prague. Here is our exclusive review!

Location

The location of Pentahotel Prague was ideal. It is not in the middle of the city center of Prague but it wasn’t far from it either; only a 20 min walk to the main city center. The walk to the city center is exciting as it allowed you you pass by quaint restaurants and bars, such as Dva Kohouti and Přístav 18600.

The hotel is located on the main street so it has easy access to public transit. It is about a 5 minute Uber ride to the center of Prague. The international airport is a little far from the main area of the city. It was approximately a 40 min drive from the airport to the hotel for only $18 dollars, which is pretty inexpensive.

Room

The room was very spacious for a European hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The room was extremely clean and modern, yet had a minimalist vibe. There wasn’t a lot of storage, such as no mini-fridge or closet,  which made the room very simple and neat. There was a beautiful “Prague” display and city map on top of the bed. The bathroom was everything you would need. It was spacious and clean with a nice rain shower.

The highlight of the room is the incredibly large balcony. We have never seen a big spacious balcony like this. Prague doesn’t have skyscrapers so we were able to see the whole city from our balcony. We spent hours on the balcony and patio furniture watching sunsets.

Amenities

Breakfast was included in our stay and it was delicious. It was a buffet style but not at all “continental”. They had everything you would want to choose from; eggs, bacon, charcuterie, cheese, smoked salmon, pastries, etc. It was all very organized and clean. Try to have breakfast outside of peak hours as the breakfast area is relatively small and the tables get taken quickly.

Pentahotel Prague has an amazing 24 hour bar/restaurant near the reception. It’s a great place to watch games and events since they have a lot of TVs. They also offer a PS4 and billiards table! The restaurant had a great selection of food including healthy items. The prices were very inexpensive. You can view their menu HERE.

The service was amazing. While the reception area is a tad bit confusing when first walking into the hotel (it’s located at the bar), check-in and out were done smoothly. They were so nice to store our luggage upon arrival which allowed us to go into the city while we waiting for our room to be ready.

The hotel lobby and bar were extremely stylish and modern. The decor was very colorful and welcoming.

You book a room starting for $85 CAD per night which is a great price for a 4-star hotel in Prague! All in all, we loved staying at the Pentahotel Prague and highly recommend it if you are looking to visit Prague on your next trip!
