We found super cheap non-stop flights from Toronto to London for only $338 to $344 CAD roundtrip including taxes using hidden city ticketing.

Hidden-city flights refer to itineraries with multiple legs where the traveler exits prior to the final destination.

In this case, you would book a multi-city itinerary like this:
Flight 1 – Toronto (YYZ) to London (LGW)
Flight 2 – London (LGW) to New York (LGA) via Toronto

The return flight (flight 2) has a connection in Toronto. You would simply skip the Toronto-New York flight and exit the Toronto airport. Booking an itinerary this way saves you approximately $178 from current Toronto-London roundtrip prices with Westjet.

Can I check a bag?
According to Toronto Pearson’s website: “Toronto Pearson is your first point of entry into Canada. Therefore, even if your baggage is tagged through to your final destination, you are required to pick them up for Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) processing.” Once you have been processed, you can leave the airport.

Remember to note though, Westjet fares only include 1 personal item and 1 carry-on. It’s an additional $30 each way for a checked bag.

What if I want to visit NYC?
Book the itinerary as mentioned above and then you would have to make a separate one-way booking from New York to Toronto for $90-$100 CAD. In total, you can travel to London AND New York from $430 CAD roundtrip.
