Air Canada and their Star Alliance partners are showing cheap multi-city flights to Taipei, Taiwan and Shanghai, China from multiple Canadian cities including:

Calgary – $588 to $618
Edmonton – $688
*prices are listed in CAD, roundtrip and include taxes

Calgary or Edmonton to Taipei (1-stop flight w/ Air Canada)
Taipei to Shanghai (non-stop flight w/ China Airlines)
Shanghai to Calgary or Edmonton (1-stop flight w/ Air Canada)

A visa is required for China.

HOW TO SEARCH FOR DATES AND BOOK:

1. Go to Kayak or Flighthub.com
2. Select multi-city

3. Search for:
Flight 1: Calgary (YYC) or Edmonton (YEG) to Taipei (TPE)
Flight 2: Taipei (TPE) to Shanghai (SHA)
Flight 3: Shanghai (SHA) to Calgary (YYC) or Edmonton (YEG)

4. Start your search off with the following example dates:

Apr 27 to May 7 to 14
May 4 to 11 to 16
May 14 to 21 to 28
May 30 to Jun 6 to 11
Jun 1 to 8 to 13
Jun 6 to 20 to 27 (only from YYC)
Jun 13 to 20 to 27 (only from YYC)
